Net Impact Boston SDG Summit 2025

September 13

NonProfit Center
89 South Street Boston, MA 02111

9am - 1pm EDT
Tickets $15 - $25

The UN Sustainable Development Goals (also known as the Global Goals, or simply, the SDGs) are 17 interconnected goals with 169 associated targets for social, environmental and economic development aimed at creating a more equitable, green, and just world. But with the 2030 deadline fast approaching, momentum has slowed. Geopolitical challenges and the underrepresentation of key voices continue to hinder progress. Still, the potential is vast: the SDGs could unlock up to $12 trillion in market opportunities and generate 380 million new jobs by 2030 (Better Business, Better World report).

Net Impact Boston is building a local community of changemakers determined to meet these challenges head-on. Now more than ever, collaborative action is essential—and this event is one way to come together, exchange ideas, and drive impact.

Join us for Net Impact Boston’s SDG Summit, a half-day gathering featuring panel discussions, networking, and an exhibition of Boston-based organizations advancing the SDGs. Explore local efforts creating global change—and find your place in the movement.

You’ll hear from professionals across government, business, nonprofit, and community sectors who are leading innovations in environmental, social, economic, and technological impact. Build meaningful connections and discover how you can contribute to a more sustainable, inclusive future.

Climate Justice: What Rich Nations Owe the World — and the Future

November 6

Presented by WorldBoston, the Chat & Chowder series features key authors on international affairs in an engaging setting. In addition to discussion of a featured book (usually sold at a significant discount), the program offers the opportunity for discussion among members and guests, and of course, a selection of chowders and beverages. This Chat & Chowder will be hosted in-person (from 6:00 to 7:30PM ET) and live-streamed to Zoom (from 6:15 to 7:15 PM ET only).

Foley & Lardner LLP
111 Huntington Avenue, Suite 2500
Boston, MA 02199

6 - 7:30pm EST

Join us for this installment of our popular Chat & Chowder series, featuring the Robert Walmsley University Professor at Harvard University, Dr. Cass R. Sunstein. Dr. Sunstein will discuss his new book, Climate Justice: What Rich Nations Owe the World -- and the Future.

Chat & Chowder programs are an excellent opportunity to engage with expert speakers and to network with other globally-oriented participants in an informal environment. Each event features a presentation, an audience Q&A, dedicated time for networking, and (of course!) a selection of chowders and beverages.

Thanks to the generous support of The Lowell Institute, Chat & Chowder is now free of charge for all participants (Zoom live-streams remain free as well). We sincerely appreciate The Lowell Institute’s commitment to our mission, as well as the support of our venue, Foley & Lardner LLP.

Please consider helping sustain this work by contributing here.

This program will be streamed to Zoom from 6:15 to 7:15. To attend the program virtually, please register for the Zoom webinar here.
